What is a zine?A zine is a fan-made, unofficial booklet that normally contains art, fanfictions, and/or photos relating to a specific theme.What are the different types of apocalyptic events?Natural disaster, alien invasion, zombies, virus/fungal infection, war, food crisis, economic crisis, nuclear fallout, technological/robotic rebellion, supernatural/acts from entities/deities etc just to name a few.What content will be allowed in the zine?The main zine will allow SFW to Mature content meaning violence, murder, suggestive situations, blood etc.
We will also have a hard-kink PDF add-on that will include dead dove/problematic content, per the interest check results.What does 'pro-shipper' mean?'Pro-ship' or a 'pro-shipper' is someone who doesn't judge or demonize someone because of their fictional interests. Pro-shippers believe in scrolling past, blocking, or muting things they don't like or are triggering. All of it is done without the harassment of the other person/group of people. That said, harassment and 'anti' behavior will not be tolerated.Who can apply?
As long as you are 18 years or older, you can apply.Can I buy this zine if I'm under 18?No, you must be 18 years or older to order.Will you have aftersales?There may be after sales, but we won't know until preorders are shipped out. Follow our twitter for updates.Will this zine be for profit?The zine will be split between profit and charity, per the interest check results.How will contributors be compensated?If Volatile becomes a for-profit or charity zine; at minimum, contributors will receive a free digital copy of the zine. If the project breaks even, they will receive a free full bundle. If sales go exceedingly well, contributors will receive monetary compensation split between them and the mods.Will the zine be digital, physical, or both?The zine will be both physical and digital with physical and digital merch per the interest check results.Will you be shipping internationally?If the zine is physical and/or has physical merch, yes but only to certain countries. More info will be released during preorders.Are collaborations allowed?Yes! You can either apply as a pair or decide to collab with another contributor once accepted. More info can be found in the guidelines.Is genderbending allowed?As long as the fic and/or art piece is within the theme, feel free to portray the characters how you like.
